Didn't he win like only 1 playoff game his whole career as a starter? Not much of a franchise QB in my book if you can't deal the deal when it matters, no matter how bad his supporting cast may have been.

Not even Aaron Rodgers would win a playoff game with last years browns. Football is a team game. They cowboys relied on Romo for everything. So many teams would have killed for a romo

Actually Arod is so good he might have been able to take Browns at least TO the playoffs instead of the Bills(who went a miserable 9-7) not saying they would win but he could get close. It's okay if we disagree btw. I actually like Romo as a person but not as much as a player.

He definitely wasn't bad in his prime but in no way did he achieve "Franchise QB" status. If he had more help he could've won a Superbowl or two, I genuinely believe that, but the most he accomplished career wise was 1 playoff win against the Lions and some decent numbers.

Franchise QB doesn’t mean all time great. Franchise QB is a good enough that you never have to consider upgrading. Like Matt Stanford.
