Fix the fact that Mike Tomlin is the head coach

They went 13-3 it’s hard to argue with that.
-
But his whole time as head coach has been underachieving with good teams. And now are biggest problem is defense which is supposed to be his strength. Just not sure what he's bringing to the table
-
So you would fire a 13-3 coach? I mean that’s a hard one to see an owner doing. If they were 8-8 maybe but 13-3 that is unheard of
-
Exactly! For his first several years I've liked him a lot. But it's to the point where we are wasting great teams. Great offenses anyway. I feel like it's just time for a change. But like you said, the Steelers don't fire coaches, especially ones with winning records.

Get rid of Bell, Brown, and let Ben retire. Tomlin should be on a short leash. Locker room is too loose, can say/do whatever you want as long as you can play football. Players act as individuals not as a team. Care about stats, fame, and money. It shows every year in the playoffs
-
While I agree with you, you can't just get rid of bell and brown like that lol. First see if you can get a good return on them and if not you gotta tough it up and build around them. Let Ben retire tho, he needs to.
-
You don't sign Bell to a big contract aka let him walk. You trade Brown for a King's ransom, when has the Last Super Bowl champ been carried by a wide receiver?
-
And replace bell with who exactly????? And yeah they could trade brown if they get a good return otherwise he's too good to just give up for not enough just to have him off.
-
So you want to pay the largest contract of all time given to a RB to a 26 year old running back who shows up 5 minutes before kickoff of a playoff game? Same guy who threatened to retire if franchise tagged? Same guy who held out in camp two years in a row because he wasn't paid?
-
Yes he deserves to be paid, if you're not gonna pay him enough obviously you're gonna retaliate. Pay him what he deserves and he'll play his best, simple as that. And you're acting like 26 is so young blwjen in reality that's the prime for a rb as he's prob gonna be done by 30.
-
I'd take a running back in the early rounds who's 20-21 years old with little miles on their legs. Look at the best backs in the league right now. All 26 or under. I want a team player who can ball, not a dude out for himself who has a ton of mileage on his legs.
-
That's a fair argument. If you can grab a Kareem hunt type RB In the draft then that would be optimal. The only problem is you got to get lucky and hope that pick turns out to be good, while Bell is already established.
