Allen had a great year after multiple injuries, whereas Gurley just had a down year last year, mostly because of the team around him

ROY -> bust -> Fantasy MVP is quite a comeback

Well fantasy football has nothing to do with real life. Allen came back from an ACL tear to have a great season, gurley is just coming off of a down season.

I was just using Fantasy Football MVP as a short description of his season. It's obvious the season he is having after last year is an even bigger jump than Allen, bc Allen didn't have a bad year, didn't have people saying he was a bust last year

Allen tore his ACL in the first game. I would say it’s harder to comeback and have a great year after a huge injury than just a down season

I would say it's harder to come back from a down season, when that is only your second year and people said your first season was a fluke. People said Gurley isn't good. Allen always was an amazing player

No the award is for a guy who is good, gets hurt and comes back from it. Or a guy who was good.. has a bad year and comes back for a good one. Not just a dude who had a few shitty ass years and couldn’t catch a cold then all of the sudden is good
