Eagles fan here. Wentz 2.0? Hell no. But he does remind me of Carson the way that he has no help from his receivers but at least he has a run game. If Chicago can acquire a consistent WR or if Inman steps up, Trubisky will be really nice next season. But Wentz 2.0? Stop reaching

Lol as if being Wentz 2.0 is some huge compliment
-
I mean he does lead the league in touchdown passes

-
Good for him, but he’s hardly some established star player
-
Leading in pro bowl votes, front runner for MVP. I think that’s enough for a star player right?
-
Not really. Pro Bowls don’t mean anything anymore and I think you purposely glossed over the “established” part of my tweet
-
Winning MVP would establish someone as a star in my book. He hasn't won it yet I know but he has a chance. You don't win MVP because of a fluke it's because you're a star
-
MVP Awards are incredibly overrated, they’re basically just an award for the QB on the best team with the best stats. If it was truly for the “Most Valuable Player”, guys like Rodgers and Brees would win it every season

Carson was good his rookie year
-
Ehhh...not really. He started good, then had a mediocre streak.

No guns to work

I think he can have that jump that Wentz is having but the coaching and the talent must change.

Lol some of you eagles fans are WAY too proud of Wentz. Yes he’s good but chill out. You got your QB and now we have ours. I’d rather see Trubisky 1.0 than Wentz 2.0
-
Way to proud well duh he is pretty much the only eagles qb in recent history to be so successful you can’t say Donovan was ever successful because he always choked in big moments this is one of the first elite qbs we have ever had
-
-
Shows how many fans misuse the word "elite" because emotional hyperbole overrides the logical part of their brain.
