The fact the Drew Bree's has never gotten one but Cam Newton does I would say yes
-
While I completely agree with you, I'll take a Super Bowl MVP over a league MVP ANY day of the week.
-
So you'd take Malcom Smith over Aaron Rodgers?

Yeap. JJ watt should have won few years back when Rodgers did.
-
I like Aaron a lot, but
@JJWatt definitely should have gotten MVP that year. Praying JJ plays well and stays healthy this upcoming season! -
The Texans didn't even make the post season. With or without JJ, they didn't have success as a team. The best QB in 2014 didn't even win.
-
I hate this arguement. MVP is an individual award not a team award. JJ had the best season of any player, so he should have won MVP
-
No, he shouldn't have. You're talking DPOY. Not THE MOST VALUABLE to a team, because his presence changed nothing about the outcome.
-
It's not MVP of a team. It's MVP of the League. Best player should win the best award regardless of position or team outcome.
-
DPOY & OPOY are awards you are thinking of but JJ didnt provide enough win share to make as much difference as Rodgers & Romo in 2014

-
No. MVP is what I'm thinking of. Whoever wins MVP should also win POY for that side of the ball too. Best player = Highest Honor
