Because after 10 yards from kickoff it's a live ball. Since they recovered it in the Endzone it's a TD.

its fair game after its gone 10 yards. You're confusing it with if someone touches it before it goes 10

you can touch it after 10 yards on an on-sides kick, but that wasn't an on-sides kick
