3-2-1 is somehow better than 4-3? Interesting that a tie holds more weight than a win.
-
It's due to the win percentage. Apparently the tie is disregarded when coming up with the win percentage. So the Steelers have won 3 out of 5 for 60%, and the Bengals have one 4 out of 7 which is about 57%.
-
In my honest opinion the Steelers should be at .500. They've played 6 games and only one three but they don't count the ties towards the winning percentage.
-
The Steelers shouldn’t be at .500 because then that would mean a tie would be the same exact thing as a loss. Ties do count towards win percentage, the Steelers have technically 3.5 wins (.5 bc of the tie) which sets them above the bengals and ravens by just a fraction
-
It balances out once all teams have played same number of games. Most wins is in, if wins are tied, then least losses.
