There were at least 5 Falcon defenders already pursuing with momentum, before the ball could have been caught. Even if he caught it, he wasn't going to make it to the end zone.pic.twitter.com/2N3EnlxUFG

Yeah because Jackson isn't known for being fast or anything.
-
Or he hasn't seen Falcons tackling at all, although Julio Jones is in that Bunch. maybe he can tackle. He played defensive end in high school.

What happened to the rule the offense can’t forward a fumble....
-
Excellent point. If they’d scored it would have been an interesting time for the refs. Lateral vs fumble.
-
You can advance a fumble as long as it’s passed the line of scrimmage. You cannot fumble forwards (courtesty of the holy roller).
-
Just realized that I forgot something. Once inside two minutes of a half (so long as it’s after the “two minute” warning, only the player who fumbled or the defense may advance it. Only expansion is if both teams fumble and different players recover it.

What a great play design. What awful play execution.

Fantastic, so against a 3 man rush with time to throw, Falcons dropping 8 or not, that gave the Bucs a better chance than a 20 yd pass into the end zone? Ahh, no.
-
They can pay me a few million and I'm sure I can design a better sandlot play than that.
