Tell MJD Pgh offered Bell a fair deal twice.

He wants the guaranteed money like other top backs. That's where the steelers were lacking in the contract talks
-
He was suspended twice unlike the other backs ........
-
If that is the Steelers position than they should stop holding him up and let him go join a team that will pay him what he wants

Steelers offered him a fair offer 2 years in a row.. he wouldn't take it. He thinks hes worth more... fine. But it's not the Steelers being the bad guys for not wanting too spend too much leaving your team unbalanced.
-
Most important player on the team offered 13 million guaranteed over 5 years .... yea so fair
-
If your running back is your most important player, you have more problems than you need. Rb is the most overrated position in football.. and average player can be successful enough to win a super bowl.. ask 9 out last 10 super bowl champs.
-
Overrated ? Steelers have almost as many losses this year as they did last year and the only change is bell , Steelers went from a Super Bowl contender to sharing the same record as the browns but. RBS are overrated

-
Your statement had nothing to do with what you're trying to prove. So the sarcasm isnt working in your favor first of all. Second even if the steelers had AB they wouldn't be super bowl contenders.. their defense is dreadful...
-
Sorry if the steelers had bell I meant*

MJD says the Steelers lied to Bell. Never heard this one before.
-
They did. When he was holding out, Steeler Brass came to him and basically said “look end the holdout, perform at a high level and we’ll get the deal done.” He ended his holdout last year and he performed at a high level. Deal ain’t done though. They absolutely lied to him.
-
They offered him a great contract. They didn't guarantee that they'd cater to his ever whim. He would have had a comparable contract to that of Gurley, just slightly lower. Gurley is 3 years younger.
-
Great contract with only 1 year guaranteed is like another franchise tag
-
Stay on the field and you get paid 70m over 5 years. Only 10m guaranteed but a very front heavy contract, with him getting 45m in the first 3 years. That's more than fair.

@MJD isn't Bell under contract? All this talk from the players about it being a business & then the players don't want to honor the contracts they signed. In no other business do you renegotiate a new contract, for no legitimate reason, in the middle of an ongoing contract. -
No, he's not under contract...
