So lucky we have guns laws which actually make sense over here in the UK, hopefully you guys will get your situation sorted in the US soon. People like Hogg are really driving this movement and the right wing media and Alex Jones ain't gonna stop the movement.
-
I wish the us had the same gun laws as the UK I wouldn't have to be terrified for my life every day I go to school

We lost 49 at Pulse in Orlando On July, 2016.. 17 dead
at Parkland High, Parkland on Valentine’s Day 2018.
Since pulse we’ve had 51 mass shootings. There’s been more people killed due to gun violence than any U.S War.
We must take action. #Jacksonville#ThoughtsAndPrayerspic.twitter.com/3M9uawNLWq

It may not provent gun violence but it will slow down the progression. Look at car laws does giving people a license stop auto accidents?? no but having laws and regulations helps prevent a lot.. You from Florida so you know what it takes to get a gun?are you a gun owner?
-
Steve is exactly right. The idea is to slow it down! And it’s not Steve Sweatpant’s responsibility to explain how it’s to be done. That’s on our elected officials. It is Steve’s right and responsibility to call out his govt to put lives over dollars and start taking action.

If you want to ban guns and say these shootings could have been prevented, then ban alcohol and thousandsof DUI deaths will be prevented as well. Don't see anyone screaming to stop alcohol sales though.
-
Someone drinks at a bar all night and gets in the car and kills a person on the way home and it's not talked about. Someone picks up a gun and kills someone then it's national news about gun control 10 minutes later.
-
Pretty sure drunk driving incidents are talked about heavily when they occur, in my experience they're always pretty big news. Maybe not national news but they get talked about a lot in the areas they happen.
-
Heavily? I don't think so. Again, no one seems to make an issue with continuing to sell something that affects more peoples lives than guns by far.
-
It's actually about even. Take away suicide deaths by gun and DUI deaths are far more than homicides by gun.
-
Police have instituted DUI spot checks nationwide, there is a legal age limit for alcohol, bars are held liable when someone leaves there drunk with car keys, etc. There have been numerous actions taken that have reduced DUI deaths. What’s been done since Sandy Hook? I’ll wait.
-
There is a process nationwide required to buy a gun, there is a legal age limit to buy a gun, and people are held accountable when they commit a crime with a gun. What more can be done? I'll wait.
-
Guess you guys are screwed then
