Cam Newton has the 3rd most TDs (behind Marino & Manning) & 2nd most yards ever (behind Manning) in a player’s first seven seasons. He’s averaging over 4,200 yards & over 30 total TDs w/ a lower INT % than Peyton Manning. His total TD to turnover ratio is pretty damn good.

He won the OROY with the most TDs ever by a rookie (35) and most total offense (4,757). He won an MVP with Ted Ginn at WR1. He has the most wins in the NFC South over the past five years with four playoff appearances in that span. He already has the most rushing TD ever at QB.

He’s currently at 54 rushing TDs. 75-80 isn’t out of the question. I encourage anyone to go look at the all time players with 75+ rushing TDs. He’ll be in. He’s a transformative talent and the league has never seen anyone quite like him.

3rd most Touchdowns through a players first 7 season ever (behind Marino and Manning), and has already broken countless records, if he stays healthy he’s a lock

Sad but true if he retired today he’s had a great career but it wouldn’t be enough however it’s painfully obvious he’s on track to be a Hall of Famer and if someone’s biggest knock on Cam is a useless stat that would make Chad Pennington the 2nd best QB ever then that’s fine w me
-
Not suggesting he'd go if he retired today - he's only played 7 seasons
-
Oh yeah don’t worry I got you! I was just kinda reinforcing that people who think this is a blasphemous need to learn to read and realize you said “on track”

I like Cam Newton but if he retired today, I don’t think I would consider his career to be great. Out of 7 seasons, the only season that stands out to me is his MVP year. If you want to add his rookie year, I’m good with that. The other 5 years seems average to me at best.
-
Well, of course he wouldn't go if he retired today. How many guys WOULD after 7 seasons? (Appreciate your willingness to add his rookie season - after all, it was the best by a QB in NFL history)

Think about it, the consensus two greatest coaches in the sport at their level (Saban and Belichick) have both stated the hardest QB theyve played/prepared for is
@CameronNewton heres the kicker. He’s played them collectively 3x in his career. Thats some high praise if you ask me -
And Cam is 3-0 against them
