Both Charles and Rod Woodson spent 1/2 of their career at Safety.

3 years of 16 isn’t half bro Charles wasn’t a full time safety until he came back to Oakland
-
Facts but actually 3 of 18
-
My mistake, still top 5 all time on my list regardless. My statement was against how this list was generated.

Seriously though, Darrelle Revis at 16 is putrid and anybody who watched him his prime understands that. And no Nnamdi but listing Aqib Talib has to be one of the biggest jokes of this article.
-
Prime revis is the best man cover corner to ever exist.
-
1. Deion 2. Champ 3. Revis Champ is generally the forgotten man between Primetime's ridiculous ability to literally do anything he wanted to do well & Revis' shutdown capabilities. Bailey was so good that he began intentionally giving QBs windows to throw to so he could jump it.
-
Revis' peak of lockdown was pretty great though as well as Nnamdi. Nnamdi allowed just 13 catches on 441 coverage snaps in 2011, thrown at just 29 times all season. But Aqib Talib made this list and in 2011 allowed 35 catches on 59 targets (just 13 games too). Right...

Sherman is not better than Champ...what a joke of an article
-
Champ was top 5 corner of all time
-
I argue top 2-3, he tackled people...Deion didn’t
-
I was gona say this! Champ Bailey was always assigned the #1 WR, lined up everywhere, and set the standard for the modern day shutdown-corner. It's nice to see NFL fans who actually know the game.
-
He was the first corner to line up against the new tight end breed as well. Stopped Tony G, I bet he would’ve stopped Gronk as well. Tony G vs Champ was so fun to watch
-
I agree, Champ was able to handle the physicality of a young Antonio Gates & Tony G, so I don't see Gronk being an issue. Plus Champ was an above average tackler.

Idk many Talib over Asante Samuel is some extreme disrespect to me. Asante one of the best playoff lock down defenders and game changers to ever play CB.
-
Dude I was looking for someone else to be upset about this. Asante was so good and so dangerous with jumping routes
-
Ya that man stay getting disrespected. Dude tied for 6th in playoffs INTs and has most returned for TDs. Dude was a true ball hawk. I’d be way more terrified throwing his way than Talib in important situations.
