At this month’s Tri Cities Civil War Round Table meeting, members will share stories, photos and items related to their family members who served in the Civil War. The program will be on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Room 239 of the Renaissance Center, 1200 E. Center St., Kingsport.

After 37 years with the Kingsport Times News, Frank Cannon is retiring. Frank worked his way quietly up the news desk ranks to become the senior news editor. His clam demeanor always kept the news desk on track when things went to pieces. Happy retirement and good life Frank.
