Reading some of the comments is freaking hilarious. Movie stunts don’t work in real life. People need to learn that. Even the best expert shooter couldn’t hit the moving target in a leg when their actions are fueled by adrenaline and split second decisions.

Well, that looks like a big spoon, no serious threat or need for a gun. Taser could work. But in all sense of honesty, he was just swinging the object. Usually with knives, you lunge at the object. So 50/50, you subdue them out or you get injured badly. I prefer to take control.

Okay and that's supposed to upset me? You share a video with no sound, of a man that appears to be waiving a spoon around. Haven't you heard of don't bring a knife to a gun fight. Sorry I'll meet all deadly objects with force. No matter what the deadly object it.

of course it “appears” to be something else instead of someone attacking a police officer. Pathetic. Justifying 10 shots to subdue someone

Shoot to eliminate a threat. 10ft 10 minutes. Adrenaline works wonders and makes people do crazy shit. Like get shot once and continue your attack. You shoot to stop a threat. Hitting somebody once will not drop them like the movies.
