1. Who do you mean by "you all" I am an individual and am not affiliated with any party or organization 2. If later on a bunch of people are hurt by a statue, even if I liked it, I'd be fine with it coming down if it was getting in the way of anyone's happiness.
You’re against the idea of these statues right? Then that means you are part of that crowd, which means you fit into the you all meaning. Why erase history to give into someone’s happiness. You give a crowd a little, they will expect a lot down the road.

No one is talking about erasing history, it's all in books and pictures, plus nobody is learning from these statues, you said yourself you didn't know about it until this article. Also I wouldn't get into the whole crowd association deal if I were you.
