The Police Departments across America will never be defunded. Some of you are insane to even think or consider this a possibility.

America will always remain a backwards, authoritarian society if there are constantly police officers who use brutal force & perform extrajudicial killings. The policing system needs to be changed entirely from the ground up. This is why we support abolishment

Not happening. That’s like saying abolish the black race because they’re all criminals. That isn’t true and all cops aren’t corrupt.

Despite very many years for the police to learn from their wrongdoings, the police still commit severe human rights abuses. To add insult to injury, many police officers who commit these violations aren't even punished for it. Your analogy makes no sense as policing is a job.

You keep saying the police instead of naming the officers who violated. Stop blaming the entire force for the actions of a few.

I blame the entire force because they as a team, have not corrected their wrongdoings. You have to look at the big picture here & see patterns in what's happening. The police will take any opportunity it can to defend its own members who commit disgusting acts. This has to change

Sure. In other words, it should be reformed completely from the ground up. That's what people actually mean if you find the word "abolish" to be too harsh.

Justice will be served better because the police will have much better training on how to react to different scenarios. This would allow proper policing to confront crime but it will also keep human rights in mind. It would be in a way similar to the policing in Finland.

That’s like saying a man trying to jump off a bridge and you have several in the crowd saying do it or no one loves you. Making to negotiators job harder. Now you can’t tell them to be quiet because they’ll argue free speech. Can’t win for losing. 1 bad cop doesn’t mean all are.
