      We could have government recognized state militias that have access to the guns in the event we have to defend from tyrannical governments(well regulated).What we have now is racists using it to intimidate decent folks. No ones defending against tyranny, they the tyrants.

      The problem I have is that the 2nd is only used to intimidate and harass or kill fellow citizens. “Well regulated” is ignored for a bunch of over grown cowards to play war in their heads and put peoples lives in danger or get them killed. There is no “good guy” with a gun.

      "well regulated Militia”#2A aimed at near-universal armament/training by law of every “able-bodied” adult (the vast majority of “the people”#2A) then in 1791 & 150+ yrs prior in the Colonies then independent States. Those are the regulations. That is constitutional gun control.

      Look the forks comment was for the asshat in prior comments. Twitter just felt my comment should be on yours. I’m not against arming Americans. I’m for it. No need to correct me. But in reality, you can pick anything up and consider it a weapon.

          Yup but the deadlier something is or can be used as a “weapon “” the more regulations are used, except not as much with guns. Need a license for a car or have to fill out things for certain types of compressed gasses and so on.

          The "Arms" #2A in #2A were referring to whatever Arms, accoutrements, & ammunition the average foot soldier of the era carried as Congress reaffirmed by law 1792, 1874, 1887 and 1900.
