No, that was a move the school system took to prevent kids from getting sick. Regardless, they may get sick and we can argue that. But let it happen while at school. Think of how many pissed off parents we will have. It's a preventative measure.

Look, the CDC can recommend a lot of things. That's like you recommending I eat somewhere you like. We don't always follow the recommendations of others. School closing was for the best interest of the kids. Hell, I don't like it because I have kids in school but I understand why

Okay, I want you to listen to this, CDC is center for disease control, they are smart in the field of science, biological, viral and infectious diseases, they can only recommend something for other fields but can't control those fields. I'm done if all you're just picking fights

And FYI, I didn't read the entire guideline from the CDC because their suggestions have changed several times since this outbreak hit America but here, this page is their SCHOOL suggestion. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/schools-childcare/guidance-for-schools.html …pic.twitter.com/mJZ24h4sdm

How has it not changed? CDC recommended no social groups of 100, then 4 days later 50, 2 days after that 10 and somewhere in the mix they suggested distancing yourself at least 6ft from others. Each time they did this, was when new information about the virus came out.

Also, the distances and times of how long this virus sticks around after a person coughs changed as well, time it took to dissipate or die out, the only time that didn't change was the time it took to show its ugly face in an infected person.
