Look, we're all exploited. We'd all like a modicum of joy. There's an obvious solution to pull ourselves out of the GUTTER and STRIKE fear into the hearts of the capitalists. Don't SPARE a second, come bowl with us tonight at 7pm!

“Am I scared of the state? Pretty silly not to be. I’m a brown person. I might be killed by the police for existing in certain spaces. [But] fear is the mind killer ... you can’t let the fear stop you from doing things, from living, from existing, from resisting.” - Tortuguita

UNC Housekeepers are insulted -- the "raise" announced by UNC was ONLY $.90/hr! UNC is pulling a PR stunt to cover the fact that they don't pay their housekeepers a living wage! Housekeepers are preparing to act to accomplish their demands -- $20/hr for housekeepers NOW!

Last month, the Triangle Tenant Union studied the 101 Notes on the LA Tenants Union (bit.ly/3iR0Wc2) as we continue to explore our principles, our power, and our dreams to which we organize to free and democratize our homes in North Carolina.
On left, text that says "We make the community by defending it" followed by a line and then "You cannot, under any circumstances, do politics alone." On right, image of houses with the cardinal over roses in one.

We emphatically support workers, the labor of which sustains the country's first public university, and who have built a movement for fair working conditions. We support workers, unlike someone in Washington.

Two weeks ago, when our organizers were canvassing an apartment complex in the area, we met a long-time tenant who had suffered issues caused by her landlord for years and years. She committed to walking with us to the front office to present tenant demands. #TenantPower
