"Aging is The major carcinogen" - the passage of time allows for more chance for mutations to occur and go unrepaired eventually leading to cellular transformation. Cancer is a disease of aging, & aging brings in a whole set of unique challenges for patients.

We patients certainly agree that trials should reflect the population who will be using the drug if approved. Physiologic rather than chronologic age is a good start.
