Every morning in front of my house in a suburb of Portland I watch parents and kids riding together to school.
That same school lines up with mom's driving huge SUVs to pickup the elite kids there backing up traffic for blocks.

Thank you for reporting this delightful story. All you hear about from the republicans running for office in Oregon is how terrible, violent, and full of homeless people Portland is. There is still a lot that is wonderful about Portland!
