It was an obnoxious and tone-deaf slap in the face to the people who actually studied for and are trying to make it in that profession. If she showed some humility and humbleness when she announced it, the response may have been different.

Personally, I have no issue with her getting the job and never called for her firing. What irks me is the way she simultaneously mocked the job she was hired for and the education many need to be considered for it. She thought the post was quirky, it wasn't. It was disrespectful.
