Amazing history and a community who have truly given to British society
Lots of Sikhs served in world war one too. Theres a memorial to the fallen at the menin gate in Ypres.
As owners of a modern army, we should be proud to have Sikhs in it!
Sorry bro I'm a Sikh myself but our people who fought for the British in world wars were nothing but slave soldiers and cannon fodder. They were the expendables. Isn't it ironic that they fought for the freedom of the very same people who enslaved them?
Mate, we’re ALL cannon fodder and I don’t disagree with your point; but massive lessons have been learned since the days of the Raj. Had a Sikh Guardsman on my team a few years back, absolute TOP bloke and highly valued team member.

Sikhs r known for their bravery that's a historical fact but that wasn't my point. My point was that they were fighting a war that wasn't theirs, they laid their lives down for the very ppl who exploited em & thought of Indians as nothing more than animals
Yep, nothing new!Approx 3 million soldiers from Australia,Africa,Canada,New Zealand,Caribbean,India, Pakistan,Bangladesh and Burma answered Britain’s call to arms between 1914 and http://1918.Today , we still have Gurkhas,Fijians & various foreign and commonwealth soldiers
Is he single ?
I want to marry him .
From one Ex Signaller to another ....proud
Haha no. Unlike many Christians though, they have honour, will not slaughter innocents, and need a just cause.
Yep only Christians got ya

Multiculturalism at its best. Well done.
