Why was it called the Cold War? Which ones were Cold? Is it the same as the Common Cold?

Why didn't they call it the "not-really-a-war" instead of Cold then? It's confusing. I'm thinking it was like Lemsip, but in the 60s.

Because it was a real war, but fought through informations and indirect military intervention against satellite states for economic control.
