Q1: How long have you been in elections/your role? A1: 31.5 years – 25 years overseeing Maine elections at the State; 6.5 years with City of Portland.
Q2: What got you interested in elections? A2: I was hired by City of Portland, Maine in 1988 as Business License Administrator in the City Clerk’s Office, and was immediately asked to help with prep for the 1988 Presidential Election – I worked with Elections after that.
Q3: What’s the best part of your job? A3: The day after election day, when turnout has been good, and no major problems were reported!
