I had heard about the possibility and asked them last week their thoughts. Chastain isn’t the only driver who said he changed his ear molds last year because of the sound.

Also Jimmie Johnson gets to do a test today under NASCAR's "select driver orientation" Next Gen test rules. He has three sets of tires. Very limited data on the car. Only four of his crew members can be with the car. Designed to get an accomplished/elite driver laps in Next Gen.
