I visited Meteor Crater in Arizona with my college roommate when I was still an aspiring astronaut. It was neat to learn that Apollo astronauts had trained there to get familiar with an impact-cratered planetary surface. astronauts will benefit from similar training.

Taking images of our beautiful Earth is one of our greatest pleasures, but it’s challenging. Choosing the optimal lens and camera settings can be daunting. There is a lot of trial and error! Luckily we have a great team on the ground and in space to offer guidance when needed.
