With all the micrometeorites and stuff, won't that get damaged? Doesn't the ISS have several impacts itself?

The ISS is in Earth orbit. We're actually in orbit around the Sun, a million miles away so not much debris out there. Also studies were done and micrometeoroid impacts have a negligible effect on beryllium (of which our mirrors are made).
