As I understand you want to position the Webb at Lagrange point 1, if you would position a 2nd Webb at Lagrange point 2 would it have the same amplifieing effect as it does with radio telescopes? #askNASA
Actually, we'll be at the second Lagrange point where our sunshield can protect the telescope from the light/heat of the Earth/Sun/Moon. http://jwst.nasa.gov/orbit.html
