@NASAWebb Hey NASA, I've been reading about the James Webb mission and nothing much is mentioned about the power system. Is it solar or RTG? I see a solar panel in pics, is that the entirety of the power system?
Hi @inventor_Artist! Webb telescope is powered by a solar array. The array is large enough so that after 10 years it will still provide over 2,030 Watts of energy to power all the science instruments and the equipment needed to point the telescope and communicate with Earth.
