@NASAWebbTelescp your FAQ says of Hubble and JWST "at visible wavelengths of light, they have a similar angular resolution" How can that be?

yeah! If angular res =~ wavelength/dia then surely 3x dia -> 3x res? Some other effect at work here?

e.g. for the same wavelength, shouldn’t a 3x larger diameter mirror have 3x the angular resolution?
