Awesome any estimates on how long it would take until it reaches its destination ?

Webb will take about a month to reach its orbital destination of the second Lagrange point (L2). After that, it will still need to undergo cooldown, mirror alignment, and instrument calibration. We expect our first science images about six months after launch!
