A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...? That's actually what #NASAWebb has its sights on. Launching this October, Webb will be able to look back more than 13.5 billion years to study the very first galaxies: https://go.nasa.gov/3tjPzZC  #MayTheFourthBeWithYou #StarWarsDaypic.twitter.com/My0RHxFYW2

October???!! Why has this program taken so long to launch? I was under the impression the entire system has been assembled, yet its launch has been scrubbed twice no? And its name "canceled" what was that? James Webb was some unsavory person? Idk, seems ridiculous, so why Oct?

Webb will be studying both the distant universe and our own Solar System. While Webb can't look back towards Earth, it will study the planets, moons and other small bodies from Mars and beyond: https://webbtelescope.org/resource-gallery/articles/pagecontent/filter-articles/how-will-webb-study-our-solar-system … For more technical information:https://www.stsci.edu/jwst/about-jwst/history/flyers …

Imagine being on that other side 13.5 billion light years away from Earth looking back at our blue dot right Now. What would see of our planet and solar system's history?
