Allow us to weigh in on #BlackHoleWeek! ⚖️ #NASAWebb will be able to weigh the supermassive black hole at the center of galaxy NGC 4151 by breaking down starlight in a unique way. More: https://go.nasa.gov/2ErzsFp  🌟pic.twitter.com/3G3p2Qtqki

The spiral galaxy NGC 4151 has a bright, active core powered by a supermassive black hole.

Intense squishing — density — is what creates black holes, but related to density is mass. A black hole’s mass determines how it feeds & affects the surrounding galaxy. Learning about NGC 4151 will improve our understanding of galaxies across the cosmos:https://twitter.com/NASAUniverse/status/1381623153735139333 …

Black holes pack a lot of stuff into a small space! To become a black hole, it’s not about how much stuff an object has, but how much it’s been smooshed. How small does something need to be? And what things could become black holes? Follow along to find out! #BlackHoleWeek⚫ pic.twitter.com/H0KTMnrzMj

Galaxies do NOT have central black hole. They have a void nichts - a spherical tear in fabric of space. Void nichts has same properties as BH. ● Spiral galaxy has one ● Elliptical galaxy has 2 foci ● Spherical globular cluster can have any numberhttp://www.mccelt.com/spatial-expansion.php …

Binary stars orbit each other and the center of mass (barycenter) is an empty spot between them, like a whirlpool. 🌟~~~~~~~~( )~~~~~~~🌟 The same thing can happen with an entire galaxy. Stars in a galaxy orbit around an empty center - the void nichts
