Hey, who turned the lights out? 
This 2017 #ThrowbackThursday shows a "lights out inspection" at @NASAGoddard. The cleanroom's lights were turned off so that #NASAWebb could be inspected with special UV flashlights after vibration & acoustic testing.

NASA photographer Chris Gunn used a long exposure, leaving the camera's shutter open for a longer than normal time, so that the movement of the technicians appears to be a ghostly blur. He also used a special "light painting" technique to shoot the primary mirror.

I hope the Webb telescope recreates the long exposure picture that Hubble did of the seemingly empty part of the sky. But that is a good photo and interesting technique.
