Until they are so far out and so cold the only direction next is hot and combustion of sorts happens and creates heat and becomes a sun or another heat source like a sun 
if this happens eventually Mars and other planets here can have life my guess there would be 3 with life

Does it have potential to heat up with those Aurora's and become a heat source can you get so cold you become hot if you were a planet this could play out in a process where the sun is pushing the planets away from it slowly as they get further out they get cold
