@NASAWebb will JWST have the ability to photograph Earth from 1 million miles away? Seems like a great opportunity.
Earth is unfortunately way too bright for Webb to observe! Also the light and heat from the Sun could also damage the telescope. We can observe the solar system from Mars on out, as well as other objects much further away. But the telescope will always face away from Earth/Sun.
