We wanted to respond to questions about what #NASAWebb will be able to contribute to the study of black holes. Webb will be able to study many #blackholes at near- and mid-infrared wavelengths, measuring the energy that is released as material falls into the black hole. 1/pic.twitter.com/cOcA76r1tl

.
@ehtelescope's historic feat of capturing the first image of a black hole involved an international network of radio telescopes working together as a team, and was supported by observations from NASA telescopes at other wavelengths. NASA has a suite of different telescopes that are capable of studying wide ranges of science, over huge distance scales. It takes all kinds of telescopes in different wavelengths (& messenger signals!) to put together a picture of how the universe works! 6/6pic.twitter.com/5vJ39lffSP
