  2. When Galileo turned his gaze toward Venus, the brightest celestial object in the sky - other than the Sun and the Moon - he was able to figure out that Venus orbits the Sun, ☀️ not the Earth as was the common belief in his time. Here’s his story ⬇️

    Multi-slit Solar Explorer (MUSE) will explore how the Sun’s atmosphere is millions degrees hotter than its surface. It will also study solar flares and eruptions to better understand space weather. MUSE is led by Dr. Bart De Pontieu at in Palo Alto, California.
