It rather underlines the problem of the western world, though, that the seat will inevitably go to someone already privileged by money.

I mean at the end of the day they are a business so it’s not giving away tickets to the cheapest bidder. Everyone in this world would happily take the highest bidders money and if you say you won’t you’re lying. It’s a company not an amusement ride...
