@apogeespace did a great video review of the HLS downselect. I agree with him that Starship is at risk of losing out (and that was before Bill Nelson) . Its biggest strengths also create risks that NASA maybe can't accept given the timeline. - Näytä vastaukset

Is this a non-official way to say the SLS program is over? They have a new ride now and she's glorious!

No, this is just a publicity shot. SLS is the US national heavy-lifter — Orion's human-rated ride. It's farther along than Starship — and part of an actual NASA program. Starship will do whatever Starship does — which is sort of the point of the caption.
