Wonder why she sits there a full eight seconds with her engine going before she takes off? Seems a tad long and a tidbit of fuel wasted? F9 ignites and lifts off immediately - though not like they’re even close to being the same vehicle or anything. Hmm hmm hmm.

My guess is it looks like the BE-3 takes a few extra seconds to fully throttle up vs. the Merlin engines. Also the thrust difference probably plays into it.. 490 kN vs. 7,607 kN Not sure about their TW ratios

Right before the capsule touches the ground it fires retro thrusters for a soft landing. It looks dramatic, but the dust being blown up is really from the retro thrusters, not impact.
