#CountdownToMars How will the Ingenuity helicopter stick around the rover? I know that there is a base station for the helicopter but how does it work? Thank you. 
Ingenuity has its own batteries that have been charging throughout the cruise phase of the mission. Once we're in a safe place, we'll drop the helicopter out from under the rover's belly, drive away to give it some space and then the helicopter will be ready to fly on its own!
