For those wondering why I asked, the thin Martian atmosphere refracts the Sun's light differently than on Earth. The Martian sky is reddish during the day and blue at sunset and sunrise.

How do you decide which area, like on Earth we have GMT, and every other time zone is +/- to that? -
Maybe a line along Olympus Mons will be GMT's counterpart for Mars.
