Gearing up for launch
The Sentinel-6 Michael Freilich spacecraft is set to head into Earth orbit on Nov. 10 to monitor the height of the ocean for nearly the entire planet. The U.S.-European satellite will take #SeeingTheSeas to new heights.

The satellite is targeted for launch aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket on Nov. 10 at 11:31 a.m. PT (2:31 p.m. ET), from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California.
