It's hard to compare @MarsCuriosity with Ingenuity, because Curiosity is a Mars rover powered by MMRTG and the Mars Helicopter is a technology experiment that is solar-powered. They have very different missions. Learn more about the helicopter here:http://go.nasa.gov/3dci8jE

Oppy was also solar powered and designed for 90 days of operation and
it became a legend

For sure. So many of NASA's projects have been absolute marvel's and I am certain Ingenuity will also be fantastic. It still blows my mind that they are going to fly on Mars. That this drone will be programmed/built well enough to respond to waypoints on another world.
