Lmao, Paul. Right? McRoverface sort of vibes with today's monoculture. But I'd prefer a name that pays homage. Or had character. A reputable name from the history of human space travel (Aldrin or Jemison). Or something epic like Thunder or Beast or Rebel Fucking Wilson or Slash.

Greetings.I believe MARV to be the best name for the rover from the semifinals.The student's acronym is great but it can stand for much more!Mars Adventure Rover V (gets the Roman numeral in there and it's the 5th rover on Mars) Mars/Ares Rover V, MArtian Rover V. Marv just fits2

Marv is also perfect because it's short for Marvin the Martian from Looney Tunes. His nemesis was Bugs bunny and maybe Marv will use his Illudium Pu-36 to drill a hole and finally get the best of Bugs bunny. Where's the Kaboom?
