Dude the heat is an IR image. Cars transfer heat to ROAD surfaces which is then captured due to the higher heat capacity of the road surface. Similar to placing your hand on a wall for a few seconds then removing it. Shoot an IR pic of it and voila same picture. Not climate chang

Hi Cathy, Not entirely sure what conversation you're referring to, but these numbers (temp of ground surface) are different from what weather stations measure (air temp). The urban heat island effect is of course real--but it's not main cause of global/regional warming.
