The answer will always be something obvious and simple. The sun, I'm guessing. Heating. Something ordinary and eventually significant, but altogether unexciting. That's okay.

The Orion Arm is bundled plasma threads, an energized from the Galactic Core. The elongated spinning object is as a 'Fletner Sail', and toured the inner three planet orbitals. That should have alerted SETI .
