Sadly, Martian core is really tiny, approximately half the size of what is depicted in that image. Perhaps this is why gravity is somewhat low for Mars sized planet and lack of magnetosphere also indicates inactive core. FYI Gravity on Mars should be around 47-51% of 1G.
